Past beneficiaries

Since VOICE’s founding in 2008, we have raised nearly $100,000 for local non-profit organizations. Beneficiaries have used these funds to purchase vital items for their communities, fund camp scholarships, maintain and build much-needed infrastructure, and more.

Scholars Latino Initiative - $3,633 raised (Winter 2024)

Being a VOICE concert beneficiary was a highlight for Scholars Latino Initiative. The outpouring of donations from all who attended the concerts will help SLI scholars both navigate the college application process and pay for college tuition and other expenses. The warmth shown at the concerts truly demonstrated a marrying of the Arts with the art of giving back.

Blue Ridge Free Clinic - $5,521 raised (Summer 2024)

We had a direct need met by the overwhelming support raised in this single weekend! We were not expecting anything close to this impact, and now, the Blue Ridge Free Clinic will be able to provide foot and nail care to our patients with diabetes, foot deformities, and pain! The very expensive surgical tools are specifically designed for podiatry, and now, with our recently-trained volunteer clinician, we can offer this much-needed medical service to anyone in need! The amount raised was within a few dollars of exactly the cost of the podiatry surgical tool set! Amazing!
